Tunnels, vertical and horizontal grain walling, and laterals

Tunnels (main air ducts)

Sizes range from 6'-0" x 3'-0" to 10'-0" x 5'-0" to cater for level fill and surcharge storage either with or without stirrers. Many different air outlets and doors/slides are catered for. Steel frame centres as standard are 3'-0", 1.0m, or 4'-0". All designed ,drawn, programmed and manufactured at one location which allows Bentalls to cope with special requirements if the customer so desires.

Grain walling (vertical)

Bentalls standard vertical grain walling from 6'-0" to 14'-0" high for both surcharge and level fill storage. Manufactured from high yield pre-galvanised steel sheet with minimum Z450 galv coating to ensure long life. Bentalls technical staff will be pleased to assist customers with loadings and beam sizes if required.

Grain walling (horizontal)

Bentalls Horizontal grain walling 8'-0", 10'-0" and 12'0" high, level fill and surcharge self supporting with posts, this is ideal walling to use in buildings that have not been designed to take loads from walling.

Laterals

Bentalls manufacture level floor laterals 12" and 15" wide for on floor stores capable of withstanding run over loads. Both grain and rape apertures are available as standard. A light duty lateral is available for use in silo aeration. Above floor 'A' shaped laterals also manufactured with all the end caps spigots etc.
