- 18 metre diameter x 20 rings high – Total Height 28.8 metres
- Handling Equipment at 200 Tonnes per hour
- Temperature monitoring
- Aeration
- In line weighing facility
Situated just outside port of Mombassa silos feed direct from ship inside port via 1.5 km conveyor.
To be used for long term storage for millers and aid agencies.
Order to completion 8 months
Special features:
- Internal struts to match existing silos (hip) at extra cost.
- Design allowance for a further planned extensions.
- 5 more silos and civil work in progress.
